Atlantic Wind Transfers expands its fleet with an order of six Chartwell EPA Tier 4 Compliant
Crew Transfer Vessels
August 30, 2022, Quonset Point, Rhode Island – Atlantic Wind Transfers the first U.S. offshore wind farm crew transfer vessel company based in Quonset Point, Rhode Island has ordered six Chartwell Ambitious-class CTV's to be built at St. Johns Shipbuilding in Palatka, Florida. The first two vessels are expected to be delivered in Summer of 2023 and January 2024, with four further builds in the pipeline.

This investment will enable AWT to have crew transfer vessels available for charter to support the demand over the next several years."

Trained Support Crew
The transfer of technicians, supplies and cargo offshore is a serious business. Our Captains and crew have performed over 25,000 transfers to date along with nearly 6,600 TP landings combined with over 14,000 transited trips throughout the offshore waters from Block Island to Martha's Vineyard. The experience of our fully trained crew is unmatched.
